The
Saint Petersburg Politechnic State University was established in 1899.
Many Nobel Prize winners had their roots in this university. Due to its
world-wide reputation, the university attracts many foreign students,
teachers and researchers from all over the world. For this group, the
university established in the 1950's a special Russian Language
Department: Russian language training to students and researchers in a
relatively
short period, so that they were able to start studying / working at the
University.
From many many countries, people studied Russian at the Russian Language Department. In the communist time, this were mostly people from Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Arabic countries etc. The last 10 years, most students come from: Italy, Germany, USA, France, The Netherlands, Sweden en Finland.
The Saint Petersburg Politechnic State University, cooperates since 1999 together with Petrion (till 2006 known as DenHamer). Petrion is a training and project management company from the Netherlands. Combining European knowledge, experience, training and management skills with Russian knowledge, capabilities and resources, the co-operation has resulted in several successful projects, such as: support in the establishment of an innovation center, arranging of traineeships, co-operation in the field of technology transfer, joint programs for logistics business courses / trainings, and the joint program for Russian language training.
In the program participate altogether about 25 employees: teachers, host-ladies of the hostel, drivers, guides, management; both fulltime as partime. We have built a strong team during many years. And as a team we do the best to make your stay in Russia successful and unforgetable !
